DS-230 NUMBER 14?

MY HUSBAND IS COMPLETING THIS FORM AND WE ARE BOTH QUESTIONING NUMBER 14 (NAME OF SPOUSE).

Well, of course I am his wife (and Petitioner)..does he type my name in that line?

Please help!

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

OKAY, SO YOUR POSITIVE, HE HAS TO PLACE MY NAME (US CITIZEN/PETITIONER) & MY ADDRESS, ETC. FOR NUMBER 14TH ON THE DS-230?

I KNOW IT'S COMMON SENSE BUT I READ SOMEWHERE THAT NUMBER 14TH IS FOR IF THE WIFE IS ONLY OVERSEES NOT IN AMERICA.

A spouse is a SPOUSE, it matters not if they are the petitioner or not, US citizen petitioner is listed there if they are your spouse.

That's correct. He needs to write down your name, your home address and your occupation on item 14 of the DS-230, whether you live in the US or not.

That's correct. He needs to write down your name, your home address and your occupation on item 14 of the DS-230, whether you live in the US or not.

thank you all! I am not working (currently looking for a job) but my usual job position is a Social Worker...can even list that as my occupation even though I am currently not working?
