Angel Heart! That's the one that left the biggest impression on me. Maybe it was because I saw the unedited version, which showed Rourke going at Lisa Bonet like a piston. I couldn't believe what I saw so I kept rewinding and watching it over and over...back in the VHS days.

i rememeber that, he was banging her like a screen door in a hurricane.

Stop...I'm starting to sweat. I've got to see that movie again.

Revolutionary Road

Also loved "slumdog millionaire"

"We are the real countries,

Not the boundaries drawn on maps,

With the names of powerful men.

That's all I've wanted -

To walk in such a place with you,

On an earth without maps."

The Wrestler!!

Mickey F'ing Rourke is the man!

..and the Academy Award for Best Actor goes to....Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler".

Pitts performance is memorable as well. It consisted mainly of looking sad and confused though. Overall I feel Button is a better movie and both were better than Slumdog.

For Best Original Screenplay. I haven't seen that yet, but you really can't go wrong with a Coen Brothers movie IMHO. I watched "No Country for Old Men" recently. I didn't really care for the end, but it's still a pretty good movie.

After winning his Golden Globe, Rourke thanked "all my dogs — the ones that are here and the ones that aren't here anymore — because sometimes when a man's alone, that's all you got is your dog, and they meant the world to me."

At 1:22 he almost busts his a$$ walking up the stairs! OMFG Mickey's drinking again, hide the women and children!

I liked Dark Knight (and the Ledger thing is a bit of a gimme - perhaps unfairly considering how little he actually features in the film).

Well, Judi Dench won Best Supporting Actress a few years back (for Shakespeare in Love), and she was only in the film for something like 11 minutes.
