Hello friends

My k3 visa has been approved and issued (confirmed by Department of states) but the embassy needed my new medical and police reports(as the previous one has already expired). which i sent to embassy today..So as as soon as the embassy review these reports they will send me the passport....On the other hand my I-130 case has been approved by the USCIS and they have sent an approval notice to my wife about it....So i just wanted to ask that while waiting for the passport to be sent by embassy.... Can my wife or me file for AOS and EAD?..or is it must for me to be in US before me or my wife file for me the AOS file?....i just want to save time on this as my k3 visa has been stamped according to DOS information and the I-130 is also approved already...Your valuable suggestions are

needed....take care

with best regards,

prayers

You have to be in the US to file for AOS - you can't file for it from Pakistan.

NO YOU CANT SORRY

Thank u very much friends for guiding me in the right direction and reducing my tension...

As i told n my previous posts that my k3 visa has been approved, issued and printed according to DOS information...and also the embassy accepted finally that they visa has been approved....the embassy then asked me for the new medical and police reports as the one i submitted at interview time expired ..So i sent through American express these new reports yesterday(22/01/09)...Now i just wanted to ask that ..(1): how much time it may take for the embassy to review these reports as the visa has already been issued?

( 2):will the embassy ask me to come for finger prints again or they will just send me the passport by courier?..as the visa has already been issued?............keep in touch friends...take care
