When the Affidavit of support states that you need a certian required income. Does that mean i need that much in my current bank account or i need to make that amount in 1 year?

annual INCOME... assets can replace income at a rate of 3:1....

State your CURRENT annual income and be prepared to document it, letter from employer, some previous check stubs, maybe 2 months or so ought to do it. If the CURRENT annual income exceeds the limits, you are in. If it exceeds the limits by $1 or by $1 million, it does not matter. If you started your $60,000 per year job yesterday and you will out the form today, state your CURRENT income as $60,000/yr and attach an employment letter to verify it. Attach last years tax return and w-2 (it will be irrelevant) and that is about it. You can attach a bank letter or bank statements if you want, but probably not needed
