SICK  How can human beings do this to one another

Happens a lot in Mexico by drug cartels.

Like Australia is the safest country in the world. Man, you have just 2 stances don't you? biased and MORE biased

Dude you are going to make a fool of yourself if you dare compare Mehico (a 2nd to 3rd world country) to Australia. People are trying to get out of Mexico. Whereas people are trying to get into Australia. There is your difference bud.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

this the same VT where the shootings were last year or so...?

wasnt the shooter also a foreigner on a student visa?

Bingo.

"The Virginia Tech massacre was a school shooting consisting of two separate attacks approximately two hours apart on April 16, 2007, that took place on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States. The perpetrator, Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people and wounded many others[1] before committing suicide. The massacre was the deadliest shooting incident by a single gunman in United States history, on or off a school campus."

"The shooter was identified as 23-year-old Seung-Hui Cho, a South Korean citizen with U.S. permanent resident status. An undergraduate at Virginia Tech, Cho lived in Harper Hall, a dormitory west of West Ambler Johnston Hall."

But yours was a genius comparison of the classic BY ilk: deranged VT grad student & murderous members of Mexican drug cartels.

Is this comparison supposed to be meaningful in some way?

Indeed. ####### does one have to do with the other? Totally uncalled for, really.

This poor girl was freaking decapitated while attending graduate school for **'s sake, and by a PhD candidate nonetheless. Not by any drug lord.

Crimes in university and college campuses trouble me a lot.

About 6 people beat me to it, but +1 for "I bet he found out she was dating a white dude."

There is definitely some anger in the Asian male community about Asian chicks being in mixed-race relationships, and I can say from experience that in Japan, there are definitely some white chicks who are all mad that all the white dudes there pretty much just date Japanese chicks and don't notice them.

Exactly my point, we know there are degenerate people everywhere but the fact of making that comparison was really uneeded. I know the drug war is bloody and gory but that doesn't take away the fact that his comment was stupid.

If he's right, will you eat your words?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

You are right it's even worse. The guy who carried this out is obviously ill. Whereas the drug cartels are actively beheading groups of people for the sole reason of proving a point.

Now if you guys get off your attack Booyah tangent you would have realized the context of my initial post. Oh I forgot, A ) I posted something and B ) I singled out a SA country and you guys obviously don't approve of either. Naturally, lets not allow the facts get in the way of your bias.

Just a guess - but I think the speculation that just because the victim and the perp were Chinese that there must be a singular motive behind the murder is more offensive than the conclusion.

The conclusion may be accurate. The reasoning is flawed.
