Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

2005- Introduced thru relatives

2006-2008- Talked on the phone and emails

2008 June 1- Went to Tashkent to meet her. Stayed in Tashkent from June 1 to July 27 2008.

2008 June 12- Engaged at the most beautiful park in Tashkent

2008 August 15 - Received NOA1 from Vermont Center

2008 August 16 - Went back to Tashkent to stay with my fiancee. I stayed with her from August 18th to November 23. The best 4 months of my life.

2008 November -25 Came back to States. I miss my sweetheart.

2009 February 4- Touched

2009 Februrary 5- NOA2 HORAAAAYYyy Thank you GOD

2009 February 12- NVC received NOA2 from VCS

2009 Ferruary 13- NVC sent the package to U.S. Embassy in Tashkent

2009 March 3- She received her Packet 3////// Her interview is on April 2

2009 March 4- I received visa to Tashkent

150 days and counting over here. Been in the hospital and back coz of all the ####### they're doing.

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

How is VSC doing this? Just luck of the draw random? I am so mad that we are sooo behind! 123 days and counting.......nothing no touches nothing! I am sorry I just wanted to vent! :angry:

hopefully you may be one of those that doesn't get any touches and then magically gets approved? you can hope right? I'm sorry this is happening to you :(

Don't bother... it's just someone with a scripted response saying "they'll get to it when they get to it"... I would recommend writing your congressman and/or senator! I just recently did that and my congressman's office(Norm Dicks) said that they will look into the matter and get back to me(roughly translated that means they'll get to it when they get to it).

Should I bother calling the USCIS hotline or whatever they have over there?

I have called them dozen times, every-time they just read off what's on USCIS website. And say that they are now working on March 7 blah blah. Really i found no point in calling. They have nothing new to say, besides what's on their website.

Don't bother... it's just someone with a scripted response saying "they'll get to it when they get to it"... I would recommend writing your congressman and/or senator! I just recently did that and my congressman's office(Norm Dicks) said that they will look into the matter and get back to me(roughly translated that means they'll get to it when they get to it).

I am in the process in writing to my congress as well. what evidence did you submit to make your case. Did you use anything from this website?? Thanks

Yeah this is a HUGE PROBLEM!! I think everyone should be writing their Congressmen. I just got a form to fill out for a complaint. I'm sure it won't make much difference, but maybe together we can make some noise.

Thats exactly what i am doing now, would anyone know what type of evidence i can use from this website??
