Has anyone been having problems with Skype lately? I have had a lot of connection problems in the past 2 days.

Maybe I should contact them and complain about their free service.

Wife goes through that all the time, when Skype doesn't work, she tries googletalk, MSN, or yahoo, when they don't work either, uses the landline, when that doesn't work, uses her cell, when that doesn't work, goes outside and either beats on a drum or send smoke signals.

is that calling over skype she having problem with? skype chat seems fine to me. we also use gtalk, ym, phonecalls, sms, emails n whatnots.

Same here! It's been imposible to talk to my family for a week or so now ...all the background noises

Planning on using the smoke signals as well!!!

Yes we did have some problems but he bought new headset (more expensive one) and everything got perfect. We use to have a lot of background noise but as i said now everything is good. For a while i was thinking that skype has some limits for conversations because the calls kept dropping and we do talk for hours every day but now everything is fine. oh and Good luck to everybody with the journey and especially to everybody from Bulgaria

skype calls always drop for me....mostly when we use video. it's his internet connection in belarus at his hostel. so we mainly just chat on skype and try for a call once a wk to see if it'll go through and take a good look at each other. good luck!
