The last thread died, some say not soon enough, but this question from it was left unanswerred. I think the answer lies in not what was said in the last thread, but who was saying it: In almost all cases, it was the American spouse that was involved in the fray!

Hmmm. Maybe it is time for some good old American self-reflection. Maybe it is better just to let the issue die. Maybe it is some puritanical vestiges that won't allow us to get way from what is the expected 'norm" for relationships in the US, by looking elsewhere for love and companionships. Maybe some of us are just feeling a little guilty. Maybe it is time just to let that guilt go, and live our own lives, without feeling remorse. Maybe, it is time to put the "blame thrower" away.

And maybe, it is time to just stop asking, "Why?"

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
