USCIS approved our case on December 10, 2008...sent us MNL# on December 27th. My fiance called USEM and told that our papers are still not there, so, he called NVC yesterday and operator told him to call back after 2 days. What does it mean? our case still at NVC? If still there, after more than a month of NOA2, what is the foremost reason why they dont forward to USEM Manila? Does anyone from VJ members same of my case? Pls share...Thanks.

you might be in administrative processing (AP). More people are in that situation.... if you look in the NVC thread you'll find a topic especially about that.

I hope you're case will get forwarded very soon!!!

What is AP? Why they sent confirmation containing my MNLcase# and letting us know that after a week they will send our case to USEM Manila...is that a long process? Thanx.

Manila is a very busy embassy so it takes a while for the documents to be registered at the embassy. It took a couple of months for them to sent the packet to Claudeth. Of course things are done differently now.

thanks...maybe im not lucky as they are :) bcoz i read some posts here that a week after they received an approval, they already have medical sched and interview. It took almost 4 months to received NOA2 after we filed the petition, so another 4 months is not really bad...i still can wait :) but hopefully il be out from AP soon even i dont really know if im under AP. Good Luck to all VJ members.
