Hi! My question concerns about surname. Where should I apply (if there is any) for change of name (and status)? At my work place (I work as a prof. in a state university)? Should I likewise change the IDs that I have? Would there be any implications if I would still stick with my current IDs (school ID to GSIS) if we would apply for CR1? Thanks in advance for your replies.

For me its your on prerogative if you would want to change your Change of Surname. As to me, Yes I did, because those ID's I used to change my passport should be from my husband's surname. Also, if you intend to open a join bank account, ID's are needed.

Hi, thanks again for the reply. I wonder too if I should go to BIR to update my tax, otherwise if not would that affect our CR1 application?
