Yes, I'm done with the interview today and the fun part is, I passed! My appointment was at 830 am but I was interviewed by the consul officer at around 915 am already. I brought a laptop bag with all the evidences in it. I thought they will still be asking for the I-864 and the tax forms. But they didn't since my husband already submitted it to NVC. I think I overdid the preparation for the interview. But it's okay. At least I can now relax and just book for my flight to California. The questions asked by both the pre-screener (pinoy) and the CO were almost similar.

- who is the petitioner?

- how old is the petitioner? how old are you?

- when did you meet?

- what's the work of the petitioner?

- who is the co-sponsor?

- how often does your husband visit you?

- when was the last time you saw him?

- have you been to the US before?

I almost forgot, I was asked to submit the CENOMAR, pictures, letters, emails, phone bills by the pre-screener. She did not really scrutinize the evidences. I think as long as you have them, you're good to go. They did not return the CENOMAR. Now my question is do i have to get another CENOMAR from NSO for the CFO seminar? or will the photocopy suffice?

They are now in transition phase of using Air 21 as their official courier. Delbros will be ending their services for the US embassy by the end of the month (as what the guy from Air 21 told me). So i'm just waiting for my passport and i am in the process of booking for a flight...going to try to be with my hubby on Vday. hehehe.

Thank you guys for everything. For making me feel that I am not alone in this obstacle. I thought that I am the only one experiencing the hardships of a long distance relationship until I got to know this forum. It will be my pleasure to help those who will be undergoing the same process that I underwent. I think that's the best way i can repay those who enlightened me in this forum. Congratulations to all those who passed the interview and good luck on our new lives with our spouses in the US.

Best regards,

Ynatots

hi. ay pardon me. common term lang pala kasi yung CENOMAR. I see that you're under cr-1/IR-1? I'm assuming you're married already. If you're married, it's marriage index. but if you're not, CENOMAR lang. it's not age related. Thanks anyway! good luck!

Congratulations! :star: As far as I can remember, you will only submit photocopies of MC or Cenomar to CFO but they also require to see the originals but better call them na lang before you go so that your time won't be wasted in going there with incomplete requirements :)

I attended my CFO counseling last Aug for my passport amendment, they just asked for Photocopies and Photocopy of my husband's passport. That's all.

The CFO Counseling last for almost 2.5 hours.

It took me 10 days to receive the Marriage index. I just had it delivered instead of going to NSO. So better get your marriage index now to avoid any delays.

Thanks for the advice. I will just do that.
