info on emigrating to UK???

Does anyone know of any forums or info sites like this that are easy to follow about emigrating to UK. Chris and i want to weigh up every option before we send in our visa paper work for me to emigrate to the USA. Because he is US mil, he is going to legal to see about what wupold happen if he meved here after he got out of the mil in just over a year and a half time, because he will still have 4 years inactive duty to do.

Any info wuld be great, as him moving here woudl be the best option espeicially as i dont want to take my kids away from there dad.

Engaged~ 28/11/05

Sons father changed his mind - does not want me to take him with me - he is ignoring all attempts at communication. Sent letter to his solicitor with regards trying to mediate come to some arrangement with contact - waiting to hear back!!

18/02/2006 ~ 1 Year anniversary

13 April 2006 We got married

kids had second lot of vacinations!

End of June 2006 filing I130 ~ Change of plan, he is leaving the military and coming here to live and study for his degree, then we all move back to USA ~ solves problem of battling to bring my son, for now anyway.

SO the long distance relationship continues until Feb 2008 at least!!

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.
