AOS Interview

Hello,

We received an RFE for my husband's AOS in March of last year. About a month ago he received a letter telling him that his application was approved and it welcomed him to the United States. I was thrilled about this, but now I'm wondering about his AOS interview. The only times he went to the center was when he had his biometrics completed and when he had an Infopass for his EAD. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I thought we were supposed to have an interview before he was approved. Is that going to happen later?

yes it happens, no you won't get an interview letter later (not after getting welcome letter)

Typically, AOS cases transferred to California do not have an interview.

it appears about 50% or so of K-1's do not.. just my back of the napkin calculation

Well first off, Congratulations ....Some people, those who's AOS case is transferred to CSC, usually do not have interviews to get their conditional green card. did you get your AOS transferred to another service center?

Yes, it was transfered to CSC last May.
