"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I know! I hate them! That particular poster has issues with himself though, he made that thread and then another thread in the OT about visa fraud and foreign spouses.

Some of the ####### in that thread though is downright sexist. Of course some of these men can't find an American woman! They're pigs!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

And not to throw ageism in here but from the profile pictures we can all see they are at least 30-40 years old. (Again, have nothing against my elders of course..much respect there...)

Why make a thread about having a a filipina spouse and then another about visa fraud? Oxymoron?

I asked in that forum if MENA is the same as NAMBLA......

Someone said MENA= Middle Eastern North African

But I'd like to know.........

thats different from NAMBLA how?

The men are over 18.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Anyways the dude has issues who made that thread. He thinks he is starting intelligent discussion but all he's really doing is causing a whole lot of problems.

I guess he thinks his thoughts are new and exciting and has never crossed anyones minds before.

I think some of it's based on the individuals insecurity, and lack of self esteem. It's patently ludicrous to label an entire nation full of women based on one person's point of view or experience.

Summed up...it's twaddle.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
