Hey guys, :innocent:

My husband's AOS is pending... my question is... Can he apply while his status is pending and when can he apply for his SSN throught out the whole process? how would we go about that? thanks for all your help :thumbs:

A K-1 is eligible to apply for a SSN from day 1 to day 76 after entry... If you miss this application window then you must wait for EAD or GC to be approved

A K-1 is eligible to apply for a SSN from day 1 to day 76 after entry... If you miss this application window then you must wait for EAD or GC to be approved

Remember it's when you actually have the EAD or I-551 that you can apply for the SSN. SSA isn't going to accept the approval notice in place of the actually document.
