No I didn't. The first question asked about what I need to get ready. the second question, I'm trying to find out what she, fiancee needs to get ready.

why posting again, you'll just make this forum more messy and you'll still get the same answers...

Is not the same question. first question was about me, second question was about her.

So I just mailed my I129f. Just wondering what documents does my fiancee need to get ready in her country??. just want to stay ahead of the game, so to speak.

She doesn't really need to get anything ready yet. All you can really do right now is wait. You CAN have her get ahold of her original birth certificate and a passport if she doesn't already have one...But the rest of the documents she needs will come in packet #3 with directions in obtaining a police record and various other records. Since it will probably be 5-6 months until she receives that packet, it's best just to sit back and relax since whatever documents she'll have to obtain will be best if she gets them dated closer to the interview date. There's no staying ahead when all you can really do is wait, huh? Good luck~~

We met in October 2007 and our immigration journey started in July 2008 when we filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa petition.

Yet the answers are the same for both questions...

Click on the Guides link up top.

You will have all the information and more that you asked for there.

Even links to sample forms your fiancee can practice with....

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

One thing to do for both of you to get ready is to stay in constant contact and keep copies of all correspondence. You will need these to establish a relationship. That is the main thing the embassy will want to see. Also it will not hurt to be sure that she knows a lot about you. Some embassies and especially in high fraud ones as where you are at are going to scrutinize you both heavily. The interview will be the time when the fiancee will be bringing all paperwork and proof of relationship. During the interview they can ask about anything at all so be sure she knows a lot about you and for sure how to say the place names where they will be able to understand. The interviewer will not be very patient if she keeps saying, "I don't know," over basic questions that they seem to think she should know.
