hey OBX i hope things are going smooth for you, because things are starting to fly for me.. i sent the i-864 ez 01/30/2009.. also paid my iv fee on 01/30/2009 and intend in mailing my ds230 my monday morning at the latest hopefully ill be out of NVC withing a month of my approval, thats what im hoping for anyways.

We are submitting the I-864 EZ also. What exactly did you include in your package?

i sent in my transcripts for the last three years (07,06,05) and w-2. i haven't filed my taxes for 2008 but i did recieve my w-2 so i also included that in their for the scrutiny along with a note saying that i have not file my 2008 tax returns because i haven't recievd all the info required to file. Employment letter and the i-864 ez. i hope i don't receive an RFI but lets see.

We are still waiting for the AOS bill invoice identification number. To date all the NVC operators are keeping their lips sealed - I have tried so many times! I suppose we might get the IIN # in the mail by beginning of next week anyhow... hopefully! For now just re-reading the forms we have sitting here ready and waiting!! Nice to see everyone is moving along and the spreadsheet is beeing updated!!!

We are just going to wait for the IIN to come in the mail. We are planning on paying both the AOS and IV bill and then sending both the I-864 and DS-230 in together.

I got nothing back when I sent the email - I have been checking my junk mail just in case. I have heard it sometimes takes over a week to get auto-reply or response. The hard copy was mailed Wednesday so it's just a matter of how long it takes to enter and update the system I guess??? Someone told me their 3230 was already accepted when they finally recieved the email response! Who knows!

I am confused now why both of you are using I-864ez and not I-864? Since I'm only petitioning my wife do I need to use I-864ez too? My mom is my joint sponsor and she is going to fill-up the I-864 since we are not in same household. How about me what form do i need to use?

I just called NVC and the AVR system told me my DS 3032 and AOS bill was generated on Jan 30th.

I have emailed DS3032, but not response yet...

I hope you can update my information....Thank you...

Just checked the AVR and my DS-3032 has been accepted but it doesn't give tell you which day. It may have been the 30th?? OBX, I can let you know next time I talk to an operator.

If you require a joint sponsor you cannot us the I-864 EZ. These are the restrictions listed:

Who May Use Form I-864EZ?

You may use Form I-864EZ IF ALL the following conditions

apply:

1. You are the person who filed or is filing the Form I-130,

Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on

the Form I-130 petition;

3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on

your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Forms

W-2 provided by your employer(s) or former employer(s).

Who May Not Use Form I-864EZ?

You must complete Form I-864 (and not Form I-864EZ) if

any of the following conditions apply:

1. The relative you are sponsoring is not the only person

immigrating based upon the underlying visa petition;

You are a "substitute sponsor" filing because the original

Hi OBX again...

I emailed my DS 3032..no answer yet..I did twice, on 28 and today 31....It is suppoused I should receive a reply???...
