My case is now COMPLETE!!! As of March 17th, per what the AVR said!! I just hope I get an interview date soon. I'm thinking we won't get an April date, but rather a May one. Thanks everyone for being here thus far! Pray for a quick interview date and visa!!!

I wonder if you know this...when i call NVC the AVR says they are waiting for the Petitioner Biographic Information....i dont know what that means...my husband sent AOS and IV bill package the last Thuesday.

Sometimes the AVR will generate that message if both packages are not scanned at the same time. I wouldn't worry about it give it a day or2 then call again or just call and speak to an operator they will tell you if both have been scanned and what they are waiting for if anything.

Hi everybody. I'm sorry it's been a long time since I last gave an update on my case. I just had my 1st day of medical exam today, March 19. I am scheduled for the interview on April 28. I hope all of you are progressing in your cases as well. God bless us all. Again and again, thanks for all your help in this journey.

Back from an out-of-town trip. I am so happy for MMW about the re-scheduled interview. I am sure the the medical will go smoothly and so will the interview! Good luck to you both!

Well, after getting back from my trip, we got conflicting updates about our case. One time they said it was just the AOS was late so it' skay. Then we called tonight and learned that there's an RFE for my passport-style photos. Odd thing is I know for certain we sent the photos according to specs, with name, birth date and case number too. So tomorrow we're going to a good photo shop, have my pics taken and overnight them to NVC.

Can someone plesse tell me where to address the RFE? Where in NVC? My mother-in-law has yet to receive the mail. No email either though they said they sent one.

On the up side, that is the only issue. If there was more, I assume they would've indicated it by now. She said they now have the AOS too and the pics are all that's missing.

So I guess chances of a May interview are bleak at this point? I really want to get this done asap. My husband won't go back to the US without me, and yet his health is sufferinig here.

Have a question.

if I paid a fine for overstaying a visa for 1 day, does it count as a charge or offense? Should I mention it in the DS-230 part 2? I was making a land exit to renew my visa but the group arrived at the border a few hours into the next day.

Nevertheless, I have a clean record and provided my PCCs to the NVC. What can you advise? I am a little worried but my husband says there's nothing to worry about and I don't have to mention it. He says they refer to actual charges and arrests. I only paid a fine at immigration police. But still, I worry.
