Anyway, i want to ask if I need to put my latest income of 2008 in employment letter (im self employed)? or I just put the 2007 income since i will only include 2007-2005 income in my I-864..Pls help me about this cause I'm confused if i what income i will put in my self-employment letter.Thanks

I would include it. We did not include an employment letter but did include the past year's pay stubs to establish 2008 income. We also included IRS transcripts for 2007,2006,2005 and all was fine.

WE filed the I864EZ and used the adjusted gross income figures from the IRS tax transcripts.

This is what the instructions say:

For purposes of this affidavit, the line for gross (total) income on IRS Forms 1040 and 1040A will be considered when determining income. For persons filing IRS Form 1040 EZ,the line for adjusted gross income will be considered.

Finally the bills showed payed ! just printed the cover sheets for AOS and DS-230 . going in the express mail today. Hopefully we can get an April interview.

Finally!!! I got the UK police report in the mail today! YEAY! I sent everything off and NVC should have it all tomorrow! (OBX, would you mind updating the speadsheet please!) Hopefully they won't come up with any reasons for a RFE! Glad to see how much everyone has moved along!

so depeneding on the type of tax return filed, fill in the appropriate income.

When you get to question 19 it says the following:

My total income (adjusted gross income on IRS Form 1040EZ) as reported on my Federal tax returns for the most recent three years was"

So again depending on the type of tax returned filed, fill in the appropriate income.

In my case, I used the I-864EZ and used the adjusted gross income.
