I htink OBX was answering the preivous person's question. You are right, she said the same thing. We have onlymade the copies of hte original documents too. I believe theis is so they will have one for their records and at the embassy most will give you back the originals during your interview.

OBX, please let us know when if you get any other messages via the operator or AVR re your case. Just curious how long it takes them to review this and when the case gets approved. Also, how long it takes to transfer the file. It didn't seem long for our K-3 file to make it from NVC to the embassy.

Yep we did. We are still waiting. I have everything ready to go and we left more than enough time to have this, but like everything else it's taking longer than we expected! I think they are a little slow apparently because of the weather England had last week????

OB from what i read on the NVC website only the DS-230 needed originals and photo copies of the documents not the AOS package. and BTW we got our 3032 acceptance today. I called the NVC and spoke to the operator and she told me they have it. so i guess the IV bill will be generated soon. We are ready to pay them once we get the AOS bill for the IIN number.

Things will fly for you now.

As soon as our DS-3032 was accepted the online payment page was updated to show the IV fee available to be paid. Good luck.

Just the beneficiary. DS-230 is all about the beneficiary not the US citizen.

ANyway, I got packet letter for K3 from USEM and they said I can call them to get schedule for my interview for K3. What i'm going to do with this since we are going to persure CR1? should I call them and get K3 interview schedule while waiting our CR1 complete at NVC??or we'll just ignore the packet for K3? OR can we do both??..any advice??

You dont want to ignore the package 3 from the Embassy. I don't know where your cr-1 process is but if it is close to going to the Embassy it would be better to call and ask them. Others i have read of on this site have done the K-3 interview with the CR-1 just arrive at the Embassy and they changed the interview to a CR-1 interview at the Embassy. A call would be best

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for AOS to arrive in the mail. According to the operator it was mailed on the 6th but as of today it hasn't arrived. Don't Panic!! I guess it was in the mail room untill 02-09-09...u should be getting it more likely by tomorrow or the day after...In my case, my AOS bill was generated on Wednessday 01-28-09 and we received it on 02-04-09...and by that time, whenever we called, NVC was saying they sent it on 28th...so, we got scared of losing it as it wouldl kill our processing timeline...

I dont know why but all my processes are taking longer than any1...Like our AOS bill was paid on 5th but still now no sign of "Paid" ... it is saying "In Process" and the select box showing inactivated and IV bill still shows not paid and select box is active to pay....is this usual? I am not sure, please help someone...
