I am still wiating on my UK police report - but I did get my K-3 Packet form the MTL embassy! Haha!

hi all, we received our NOA2 Jan. 29 and case was entered at NVC on Feb. 2 2009. We Emailed our DS 3032 on the 3rd and are waiting for the conformation email and AOS bill to be generated. I am calling NVC today for any update about the DS 3032 and to see if i can obtain our IIN number. Wish us luck.

Good luck! If you can get it you'll be my HERO!!! None of us have been having any luck! But if not, don;t worry - it doesn't take too long before the bill gets to the petioner and then you can still pay online! LOVE NVC!!! SO much easier than waiting endlessly at VSC!

I just got the NOA2 on 1/29/2009. I am new to the NVC process.

During the NVC processing, after DS-3032 form is completed, do you also need to send in the DS-230

form part 1 and part 2 to NVC?

I thought the benificiary needs to bring the form to the consulate abroad during the interview time.

If you are following CR-1 then fill out both parts of the DS-230 but don't sign part 2. When you designate the person to send everything to (officially DS-3032 is accepted) a IIN number and AOS bill will be generated. You can then call NVC to try to get the IIN from them but not many of us have been successful lately. You may have to wait until the bill goes to the petioner in the mail and then you can use the IIN to pay online. When your status changes to PAID after 2-3 days, print the cover and submit it with the I-864. The bill IV is then generated and once it is paid you print and use this cover to attach to your DS-230 when you send it.

Takign the DS-230 to the embassy is only if you are going the K-3 route. If you read the Wiki shortcuts it's all there.

ANyway, how to pay online we are using the checking act., are we going to fill out the blank check and enter the corresponding routing # and check #? or what?..after that, what im going to do with the check? pls help me

If you ask the operator they can tell you. It may also be updated in the AVR but the AVR can be a day or two behind and is not always reliable. I think the DS-3032 must have been accepted otherwise you woudl not have got an AOS bill with IIN number generated.

If you are are paying on-line you go to the website https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx and enter details as asked and it will prompt you. You have to use a US bank account. It will show PROCESS for a couple days - keep cheching back it may take 2-4 days before it says PAID and then you will be able to print the cover page and send it with your I-864. Also keep checking for the IV bill which will show up online when itès ready to be paid.

I am confused about the NVC scheduling interview dates only on the 2nd week of each month!!!! What does it suppose to mean?

Say for example, I am done by the february 22nd or so...I will have to wait untill second week of march to get an interview date .. apparently which will be on End of April while my case was done way ago?

If that is the case, what will happen if I have k3 interview scheduled on March 20, 2009, and NVC tries to schedule it on the mid March???

My goodness, I am never gonna save any time anyways from here I can see that.....

One more thing, in Bangladesh we don't have PCC been issued from Passport office, I think that is fine...I also checked the NVC website for the papers needed for Bangladeshis...Our government is centralized, and PCC is issued not only by the Local police station, but also authenticated by the Home Ministry and Foreign Ministry....

Yes, NVC schedule interview date in 2nd week of month. If your case is completed by Feb 22nd then yes you have to wait till 2nd week of march to get be schedule of april interview date. If you interview date is march 20 and you think your CR1 file wont reache consulate ontime you can reschedule your interview date for k3 so you have enough time. Check with consulate on how to reschedule interview date. Also, have you check with your consulate to see if they will convert your k3 into cr1 on day of your k3 interview if cr1 file is on there premises? Most consulate does that but just to be on safe side.

So, considering above situation....I feel like most of us will not get interview dates in March (not even in Late march and early April....)
