I met my finace in Novmber of 2006 through an online dating service..We had rough communication until February of 2007 when we both got webcams. Great improvement since then...I visited Lima for the first time May 2007 and I have made 5 subsequent trips since then. I live in Richmond Va and my servicing center is Vermont..

My specific questions are:

1. Can the photo's that are required as evidence of a relationship be digital printed in full color 8 1/2 by 11 w/ standard color and paper or do I need the Kodak / CVS / Walmart brand of 4x5's ?

2. Emails, I have 100's do they need them all or just 5 ?

3. Phone charges - I don;t have the old phone bills but I do have over a $1500 in USA to Latin America calling cards (do i send all 500 or, can I take a picture of all 500) - is this really necacary?

4. I have majority of reciepts from my past 5 trips (HOTEL, PLANE, Itinerary's. Taxis) etc..I can confirm by at least 2 or 3 of these items I was there along with photo but I dont have all docs for all the trips.

5. I have a complete listing and reciepts of the money I sent to her for the last 14 -18 months via western union to pay for our apartment in Lima. Is this accaptable for evidence of a relationship ?

6. She is 32 and I am 45 - Is this a problem?

7. We met on a dating November 2006 - Is this a problem or, does the clock start when I arrived for the 1st time in Lima May 2007 ?

It has taken me/us ($7500) and 1 year to find her ex and get him to sign the divorce decree.. I believe I am ready to submit but, I am nervous - if anyone can give me advice - I would greatly appreciate it..

Also, if possible (I have seen alot of dates/timeline posted) can anyone give me a ballpark time line from the day I send pacakage until the time she is approved to come to the USA ??

THANKS

Gene

#1 how the photos are printed dont matter.

#2 i had emails from 2005 to 2009. but i only printed one out of each month. i even skipped out some months.

#3 phonecards? ya. bring some not all. but call archives printed on paper would be better. but if you dont have any, its okay. as long as communication is established in all other forms. i didnt have any phone bills printed out till january 2008. the past years we used phonecards and just last year we started using skype.com. i had a thin stack of paper showing our calls from jan 2008 - jan 2009.

#4 our plane tickets were from orbitz, travelocity, etc. and it wasnt even all our trips.

#5 i had no western union receipts

#6 age is just a number. as long as the relationship is bona fide and oh so true. your love for each other is still the most important of all.

#7 when i had my interview the consul asked me... have you met your fiance in the past 2 years? and i said, yes. then he called it good.

these are all based on my experience but everything else happens on a case to case situation. but i hope this helps.

i may be wrong in some, but it ended up well.

and with the timeline, USCIS timelines are tricky. VJ timelines more make sense but then again no two cases are really the same at all with the time flow and the processing. but you can check out the average processing time with VJ. makes more sense than USCIS.

good luck! all the best...

It sounds like you have more than enough. I just had hotel receipts and boarding passes and date stamped photos and theat was good enough. The age thing is no big deal, I am 13 years older than Isa. It looks like you are all set with everything. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.

Welcome to VJ.............

Answers to questions

1. However you print your pictures are fine. My personal opinion is the smaller version are easier to submit.

2. You can submit 10-15 e-mails. Maybe 1 or 2 from every other month.

3. Submit about 10-15 phone cards just to show you had them.

4. Submit as many hotel, airline, restaurant receipts as you can

5. Western Union receipts are good

6. My wife and I were the same ages as you guys are when we 1st met. Age difference is just number. Don't worry

7. As long as you guys have personally met in the last 2 years is what counts

Also submitting copies of your stamped passport pages is a good idea to show you have been in and out of Peru.

The average processing time from submission of package to issuance of visa is around 8 to 10 months going through the embassy in Lima. It could be a little longer or a little less.

When the time comes I would suggest attending the interview in Lima with your Fiance.

Good luck.....
