It's probably not the correct forum to write about this but o well.

Now I know that it probably sounds like something crazy but I just don't feel like waiting until who knows when to be with my husband. I never thought this would turn out to be SOOO hard.

Now I know that in order to get him over here I need to show proof that I'm working here but I just don't feel like going through this whole process.

They will most probably drop / deny our case when they get to it, huh? Unless through some miracle with a good affidavit they approve it.

Your feedback, encouragements and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Have a Blessed Day,

Ilana

the proof of income is needed for the interview which could be a few months from now (realistically speaking) and this should give you enough time to get your stuff together. I just got a letter from my employer stating how much I make and how long Ive been working there and 2006/07 tax returns. If you already filed both I-129F and I-130 then you have done a lot more work than it takes to do a I-134 so stop being lazy!! LOL

now as for moving back to DR..we all come here to progress because that is more difficult (or nearly impossible) for some of us to do in countries because of the lack of opportunities so what the heck would you do there???? especially if your life is already established here, you think you are going to move there and live out of love?? like the bible says (and I'm not religious at all) "man can not live on bread alone" so just keep your hopes up or move there temporarily at least just to get a feel for what it would be like rather than take the drastic step of moving permanently, just my two cents (and yes, I konw its easier said than done :)

Well I wouldn't move there for ever, just until my husband can come over here, hopefully.

I think that it fine to move there. You just have to have a plan of action for when the time comes to move back here. Can you take a hiatus from your job for a few months, or can you plan to get a job at least 2 months prior to him arriving. All you really have to do is prove domicile and that you make above the poverty guidelines. You can do this with assets like a house, or business, or you can try for a co-sponsor to supplement your income. The idea of moving to stay with your spouse during the wait is perfectly normal. Many people on VJ do it. Maybe you should try the DCF or Direct Consular Filing thread topics. This could give you some insight on what others have done in your situation.
