I just got this letter at 8pm, supposedly from the WRITTEN Complaint dept after the letter I wrote to them about being 6 weeks in AP & requesting supervisor assistance 3 times!!!

Dear Sir,

The visa petition you mentioned in your inquiry has recently been forwarded to the US Embassy/Consulate General. Please allow 10-15 business days for the Embassy/Consulate General to receive the petition.

Notice the signature that I've never seen before , signed Serco Inc, Support Contractor??

I did a search and found that they are a hugh conglomerate with thousands of employees that do mostly federal Govt contract work. And I found this on one of their job openings site, thought this was funny...

Portsmouth, NH National Visa Center ,

Really crappy place to work. They treat people like #######. Only apply here if your desperate for money.

- You get two 15 min breaks and one unpaid 30 min break. You get in trouble if your not back at you desk working 10 seconds late.

- Pretty much everyone is working mandatory overtime, 50-60 hours, 6 days per week. Have a baby? Too bad.

- Very low employee morale. Everyone hates working there. LOL.

- They dont treat you like a person, they treat people like machines.

- All contractor jobs, no gov jobs or opportunity

- Benefits are lacking

- Pays well, but not worth it.

- No talking to other employees during work.

- Quotas. Not typing fast enough? Your fired.

- Huge turnover, see above reasons.

Anyone VJ members need a job? Sounds great!!!

Now, does anyone feel quilty about calling these hard working stiffs to get us out of AP??? I know I don't!!! good luck and a happy final journey through this maze of #######.

Wow!! I've thought NVC was much better to deal with than USCIS. The USCIS employees must be really de-moralized.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!
