hello-

I have a question about which name to use on my application for permanent residence. My finace (now husband) were married in a small civil ceremony a couple of weeks ago. We are planning on having a vow renewal and party at the end of the summer, in canada (I am canadian) to celebrate with all of our family and friends. I am planning on changing my last name to his, but wanted to wait until the summer to do so.

My question is this-will it be a problem if all of my supporting documentation (bills, passport, letters from employers, friends, etc.) has my maiden name, but my application has my married name.

This site has been so helpful to us so far and I have been able to find answers to all of my questions from other posts-thanks. This is just the one thing i haven't found an answer too yet.

Thanks.
