After the AOS

We have our interview for my AOS soon. If all goes well and the greencard is issued, is that it? Are there any other steps? Are there any other things I have to do and how regularly do you have to renew the greencard and touch base with the authorities?

Any information would be very much appreciated.

If you recieve your green card before two years have passed from filing, you will recieve a conditional green card. It's pretty much the same as a green card except you are know as a "conditional permanent resident". This green card is good for two years. 90 days before your greencard expires you must file to lift the conditions and then you will recieve your ten year card. After that, it is your decision to apply for citizenship or renew your greencard every ten years.

You have to apply for your 10 year GC 3 mths before the 2 year ne expires or you can apply for it 3 mths prior to your 2nd wedding anniversary. 1 year after you have the 10 year GC, you can apply for citizenship.
