Well I completed the DS156 Electronic for my fiancee but I may have made a boo boo.

On the question asking if you will work in the US yes or no (give name and address of employer) ... I put no.

My thought was that she has no job lined up at this time and therefore we could not give an employer name. Yet she will work once she gets all the paperwork in line.

I told her if they ask at Consulate about this to tell them just that. Once in the US I will work but I do not have a job ready at this time.

Think that will cause a problem for her??

Thanks!

I have the same question here :) DS-156 Question 32...what you think is the best answer? I am helping my fiancee filling up this form. My answer would be YES since she will eventually work once as what you've said have the paper works but no employer yet at this time...

If you get a reply of what is the best answer to this question, please let me know. Or anyone knows what to answer to DS-156 Question 32 for K-1 visa application.

Thanks!

usarandyo,

It's not a significant question for K-visa applicants.

Coco Puff,

The 'best' answer is an answer that states your intentions. Different people will have different intentions and thus different answers, all are 'best' for them.
