Hi,

I am applying for my parents GC. While filling up DS 230 form. We found that:

"In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States?" what should be answer? is it "N/A" or whatever profession he(my parent) is working should be here??

Thanks for advise!

This question is really not that important so you can write whatever you want (as long as it's legal :)) You can even write None or Undecided.

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

I went to school for business marketing, so that's what I wrote down. You can write down what they've previously worked in the home country. Like "banking" or "retail" or something. I don't think it's a question you really have to worry about :) Good luck!
