hey yesterday they said he isn't happy about it but the secret service will not let him have it. he's giving up the crackberry.

CNN just pronounced this as the WORLD'S INAUGURATION...and you think this won't be an eternal part of history?

Considering the world couldn't vote for president, its not their inauguration, unless somehow Obama becomes emperor the world. It's a historic event but I'm not surprised that black man won the election. Like a lot of people, I grew up after the civil rights movement and believed anything was possible for anyone in America. It was a question of finding a candidate acceptable to the majority of voters.

Not sure if you got the memo, but the President of the United States of America is said to have an effect on the world...not just the USA.

The president is only directly propping up the Afghan and Iraqi governments at present. The U.S. economy does have a worldwide effect but there's not much to celebrate about that during this ceremony given the current state of the economy.
