Who's watching the inauguration?

I'm watching on CNN, and just thinking about what a great day this is.

My dentist/friend a Republican, just emailed to say how excited he was, and to congratulate me...he knows I campaigned rather hard.

He also knows that when he told me that he "wanted to vote for Obama because he's an African American" I told him,

please don't. I told him to consider the positions of each candidate, and consider what he feels is best, and that I would think less of him,

if he used his vote out of some shame or guilt, or just because Obama is Black. A lot of people assume I'm excited because he's a Black

man, but the reality is, I'm excited because he's a good man. Hail to the Chief!

Actually, I automated it last month so yeah it would. Now I just get emailed when there's a fault.

I'd say 1 degree of separation is good enough to say I know him to be a good man.

I have one cousin that chaired a board of directors that Mr. Obama was on for several years,

and another cousin who's been a friend of the Obama family before they entered politics (over 10 years0, and who

has recently been appointed to the cabinet. So again...1 degree of separation...and I feel very comfortable

saying that I know him to be a good man.

I'd guess Reagan. He was a bit of a rock star in his days. The old timers on VJ probably remember, I bet they listened to it on their antique radios.
