I go back to the civil surgeon tomorrow .Hope this time I have all I need.My I-94 expires on Friday. wanna submit everything tomorrow afternoon.

First I've seen on USCIS web-site that they changed form I-756 date.I have the version from 10/16/08.and now it appears on teh website 10/30/08...It also said previous edition accepted. That means I can submit the one from 10/16/2008?

The pb is that I just ran out of ink...and I have no much time available...

Did u notice if they change other forms editions?

I'm planning to ask for overnight mail...

Thanks and waiting for an answer.

Hello, I just checked the Form I-765 and this form was updated on January 9, 2009. If I were you, just use the one that has a version of 10/30/08 because it was updated recently. Although, it says there that previous edition will be accepted (10/16/2008) but just to make sure use the one which was the latest...just my two cents..

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

If they say they accept previous forms and you have no ink left to print out a more recent form, you should be alright with the form that you have. Good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Could you go to Walmart and pick up some ink? They're open 24 hours.

Also RELAX...you don't have to file before the I-94 expires. Some people wait a year or two and still get the AOS. It's best practice to get it done, but not a problem really if you miss it a couple of days.

And I agree the Oct 2008 form would be fine.

Yes..I really have no ink...

does anyone know exactly if the edition that I have is the previous one?I downloaded in december.Hope there's no one between that date and their last update,

The edition that I have is 10/16/08/.I need to know because it doesn't say "previous editions, but edition accepted..so only the one before the last one...

I see they also changed I-131...I have the edition from 05/27/08.It says previous editions accepted.

is the cost the same 1010?

The forms straight from USCIS. Scroll down to find them.

I don't see a Jan 2009 version of the I-765. Or October 16. Ours that we filed in October was the July 27, 2008 version and EAD was approved in 2 months.

The latest version for I-765 was updated on January 9, 2009 ( you can see this when you open I-765 in the immigration forms) which was the 10/30/2008 version.

I see the January date now at the bottom of the webpage explaining the I-765. That is the date that the webpage information was updated. The actual form shows in the bottom right corner that it's date is 10/30/08.
