How far back of my tax returns do I need to get ready for my affidavit of support. I'm just trying to stay ahead my gathering the information now.

A tax transcript ordered at irs.gov is complete on its own. A "tax return" is not complete without all schedules and income statements (W2s, 1099s etc.). I'd go with the free transcripts unless they were filed jointly with a former spouse. In that case you'll need the return with W2's etc. so they can see how much of the income was actually your own.

You just need 1 year and If u get IRS transcripts u dont need w2 or copies of forms but u can send 3 if u want

We took 3 to our interview but they just looked at the latest one.
