We just got to be strong, all of us. <3 But it really does suck dating military. I've been with my fiance even before he joined the army, so it kind of killed when I could only talk to him on Sundays and what not :S! But once he gets back from his deployment, he can take a month off. <3

We've been dating long distance now for 5.5 years, but compared to what you guys do I actually don't feel like I should be complaining. We are lucky to see each other every 6 weeks or so. It's definitely been expensive, but we were very young when we knew it was important to establish ourselves, finish school and save a nice nest egg. Anyways, I think my advice after all these years to anyone is to not rush into anything and really ensure you are both on the same page. There have been times when I was rushing him and if he had actually given in and we had filed earlier, I think that would've really made things hard.

Ultimately, patience is the key for us. For me, just knowing that after June we'll be together forever is the best feeling in the world and another 5 months seems like a piece of cake.

You will get through this and it will be glorious when it's over! The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer for me and I can already see it is nice and bright!!
