After almost 3 years on here-I still don't see the big deal about the hearts. If we must have them-I think off-topic posts should not count and like Krikat says up there ^^^^ contributions to the guides and FAQs should be marked in some way on a members profile.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Actually, here's an idea Ewok: how about if you make the heart system opt-in or opt-out? I'd love the opportunity to turn mine off.

but why? wouldnt it just be easier to let ppl be and let him have his extra heart? why is it everytime i turn around your making something simple into something dramatic? :D

But it's a valid question...I often wonder what the lure of the hearts are myself. And the option to turn them off would be interesting.

Now, Captain, where is my big Gold Shiny Moderator heart? Hmmmm? :whistle:

you get one small one for every time you are suspended, one large one for every 5 times you are suspended.
