Yes, you file the I-130 first. Then you file the I-129F for your K3

Cr-1 is a FAR superior visa if you ask me! Good luck on your journey

Thanks for all the info. Just have one more question for anyone who may have experience in this area.

If after we are married, I go to the U.S., get a job offer, and obtain a work visa, can I stay with my husband while the CR-1/K3 is processing?

If the K3 would go through Vancouver then it may well be a good choice, but you'll muck the whole thing up trying to get some other kind of work visa during the spouse visa process and probably can't anyway. If you go the K3 route through Vancouver, you will have a visa a few months sooner but it will be several months after entry before you will be authorized to work. Unless you want to spend your first (minimum) 4 months in the USA unemployed, I'd skip the K3 and go the CR1 route. All Canada CR1 interviews are in Montreal.
