James just got his letter for the AOS interview (July 24th) so we're starting to get ready. Already have everything that we have submitted or gotten back from the government neatly filed. I was just wondering if anyone who has gone through or heard about the Boston office could tell us what specifically they looked at, asked about or paid attention to?

I think we can prove our relationship ok, just a little worried because we have been living with my parents, so don't have the kind of joint bills that most people probably would. Also, before he had gotten his SSN, he just put all his money in my account and just for stupid convenience, we haven't put his name on the account yet, even though we've shared it for 4 months. We'll change that next weekend, but it might look weird that we hadn't done it previously. Also things like car insurance we have separately because financially it worked better that way. However, the canceled checks to pay the bills all come from the same account. And he's on my health insurance policy. Do you think that will be enough?

Thanks for any advice you can give. :star:

Boston was a breeze for us.

Our joint bank account was only a few weeks old too. Not a problem. We had insurance cards, picture, beneficary forms and a letter from my sister. They never looked at the letter. They look at some of the pictures and I think kept a couple.

They asked the are you a terrorist/drug user/criminal questions... how we met, how many time I had travelled to see her in Thailand.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

We had our interview in Boston too.... they asked all the usual terrorist questions asked how we met... looked at our wedding photos... she then asked for a copy of our co-sponsors birth certificate to prove he was a US citizen.... OH my god we did not have that... bit city hall is right next door so we asked if we could go get a copy and bring it straight back... this we were allowed to do... so we got approved on the day and we got the 1 year stamp in my passport....

Hope you have a good interview

We live with my in laws as well and don't have the utility bills. We pay rent to my MIL and she made up a lease agreement which all 3 of us signed, so you could ask your MIL to do the same or even a letter stating you both live there?

Good luck!
