Hi, first of all, do you mean AOS (Adjustment of Status) or Removal of Conditions? This forum is for Removal of Conditions and interviews are not that common in that stage.

If you do have an interview, the location will depend on where you live, there are several offices in NY State that conduct interviews: Albany, Buffalo, NYC (Manhattan) and Garden City (Long Island).

Hi guys, I would like to know if anyone had an AOS interview right here in New York? If so where will it be in the N.Y. area.

My wife has not been called to the interview yet, but we're in NYC, and the local district office is @ 26 federal plaza at Broadway and Worth. And they have a sub-office for other stuff at 227 livingston in downtown Brooklyn.

Hi JoeLyn316,

In answer to your post, yes, I've had a successful AOS interview before (2 years ago in 2006) in Buffalo, New York State, as that's where my local USCIS office was at. Specifically, it's located in downtown Buffalo, NY and is at the following location: 130 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo NY, 14202.

For more information about my AOS interview experience, click on the link on my VJ timeline (the link can be found on my signature below and on my VJ profile).

If you live in the Western part of New York State, then Buffalo, NY is the most likely location where your interview would be at. If not, then your AOS interview will probably be at another local office in New York State.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your immigration journey too.

AntandD, was it because you guys have a sufficient amount of evidence which cause them to conduct the interview or was it because you were picked by a random process, u think.

Hi JoeLyn316, I believe AntandD was referring to her AOS interview 2 years ago, not a "remove condtions interview" because she's still waiting.

I did have a "remove condition interview" about a month ago, and it went well, I got approved 10 days later and I've already received my 10 year GC. I live in Bronx NY so my interview was in NYC at 26 Federal Plaza. In my letter for the interview appoinment it didn't say that I was picked random, so I guess the evidence wasn't enough for them, who knows, cause I do think I had sent sufficient evidence. Anyways, hope this helps.
