Question...checklist on I-864?

Hey Everyone,

On the checklist on the I-864 it says:

"If you are using the income of persons in your household or dependents to qualify:

Proof of their residency in your household and relationship to you if they are not the intending immigrants...."

My father-in-law is filling out the form I-864A and is living in the same household as my husband currently. What sort of 'proof' has anyone else used?

I'm not too sure how to go about this....

my daddy was my co sponsor when I filed the I-864 for my husband. what we showed that we lived in the same residence was we both photocopied our driver's licenses because our address is stated on there. And we live in the same household. That was all we did.

I believe you need to show your father's citizenship status too. Send a photocopy of his birth certificate or the biographical page if he has a US passport.

oh yeah that's right. one needs to show the sponsor's status in the United States (US citizenship by making a photocopy of the biographic page of the US passport.) God bless to all.
