When I was in elementary school, they asked me to fill out a survey. They asked for race. Do you know what I put? Caucasian. Reason, simple. I didn't know what Cambodians were called when they have Pacific Islander, Asia...Confused. Silly me.

Have you ever heard the expression used towards black people? I haven't. I've heard other words and expressions used towards similar black people (you know what they are), but never "white trash".

Trust me...it gets used with Black people too. As for mainstream use, checkout the docu-drama "Generation Kill". I think they refer to some Blacks as well as Mexicans as Whiskey Tango. Just as "ghetto" and other infamous words are cross cultural, so is "white trash" which can also be substituted with "trailer trash"

A radio host here in Denver often has White Trash show days, like "You know you're White Trash when . . . " All sorts of people call in , not just whites, because, no matter what color some White Trash traits are readily transferable between races and ethnicities, like proudly owning an aluminum Christimas tree or keeping a sofa on your porch.

my frustration came into play today from a man who acted very ignorant and rudely to me at work. I posted it in the other topic and lingling came up with a smart comment over there, so this is why I wrote what I wrote on here.

its over with now. I just see how some want to talk about all this change and expect it from a President, but they wont change their rudeness towards others.

A message to all the closet racists who keep telling themselves and others, that it's not about the color of Obama's skin.
