I know we are in the same boat this is ridiculous and can we all contact our congressmen? I mean I know we are just numbers but this is life for us and as an American citizen it is our job and duty to speak up on this issue. It's not fair, we do it the right way and it takes months, we do it the wrong way and.............. :/ sorry I am fired up!

do you think if we call congressmen they will speed VSC up ?

i hope we will hear good news soon

It could be a lot worse if you were married when you filed your petition. In that case you could be waiting even longer to be united with your spouse (and maybe kids) because while VSC is processing August K1s, they haven't even finished processing all the March K3s yet !

07/06/09 - USCIS received (date on NOA1)

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview

10/03/09 - Received GC !!

We also wrote a letter to congresswoman and senator, about 2 weeks ago ... havent heard about them.... we will try calling...
