So I called NVC this morning, I figured Ill have better luck trying to see if nvc received my papers since sonia said her k3 was already their, rather than spendin 5 hours on the phone arguing with a uscis robot rep, and they told me they don't have any of my case numbers and that its not in their systems...

I was hoping but I guess nada... sonia said that her k3 was never with her i130 or something like that, maybe when she caled regarding that problem uscis decided to just approve it???

I dunno but I hope next week isn't sooooooo quiet with hardly any approvals :(

We called USCIS first.... I had my I-129F NOA1, but that was not ever found in USCIS online system and whenever we want to have an enquiry, we had to talk to a supervisor at USCIS....

When we knew that we were approved on 19th/20th (we have not received NOA2 neither my case status changed), my speculation said that the NVC should have got it by 22nd..so I asked my hubby to call @ NVC and we found that they just received our cases where I got K3 visa number and yet to receive CR1 visa ....which should be given by today....

Hope more approvals are coming up....

I have just seen the USCIS update of timeline...this is so stupid of them...as of Nov 30 they processed April 01, 2008? Weird....they are really pain in A$$....

Good Luck...

I was so excited to see this post, I jumped onto the USCIS website as fast as I could!!! Glad to see some progress but after such a long delay in updating processing times, I was really hoping for more of an advance at VSC.

Optimistically waiting ...

But the new processing times are AS OF November 30th Not January. so you figure adding on 2 months to the posted processing time brings us to approximately JUNE :clock:

My assumption is that they will be bombarded with phone calls today because alot of people are outside of the processing dates.

I don't think there is any good news with the processing time update except maybe for Monica&Isha who can now call VSC and start bugging them. Almost everyone else is still within the official timelines. In any case when they publish a date (April 01 in this case), they consider themselves done with all the cases before that. Of course their officers are assigned 2-3 months worth of cases at a time and it is no surprise that some June cases are getting approved. This also fits well with the fact that the April 01 date is as of November 30 and so nearly two months later they have had a chance to look at May and June files - but they won't publish that date now because not all May and June filers are approved yet.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but the processing times mean absolutely nothing. Even Monica and Isha who are now out of the processing times...they can call, but many times in the past, those who were outside of the times called and were told, "You have to wait xxx number of days before we can make an inquiry for you" or "Hmm...the computer doesn't show you're outside of the processing times...it's not letting me create an inquiry request." A bunch of BS that doesn't help anyone. So really, in my opinion, the only difference we're gonna see is the robots telling us "We're processing April 1st" Instead of "February 26th"...

I'm telling you, I just wash my hands of the whole thing. I'm going to work on my portfolios for school, which the first one is due January 31st. Once I'm done with that, if I still don't have an approval, I'll be submitting my CV overseas and will be calling international moving companies for quotes. I'm not putting my life in limbo anymore for this ####### (dis)organization called USCIS!!!! Seriously, considering everything, the US is NOT worth all this trouble for my husband. So why should I let it be worth all this trouble for me??? To hell with school and money. I don't care anymore. It's all wasted, all down the drain, all for nothing...well so are these last 9 + months that I wasted putting hope into a ####### system that only works in random bursts.

Rant over.

PS- Thanks for posting the updated times. Honestly, I have not checked their website or the account login thing since the new year. I figure it's all BS anyway. I'm happy to see that some still have a positive outlook on the whole thing.

I'm not laughing at you...I'm laughing because it's as I said...the robots only change Feb 26th to April 1st. And you'll see, some will accidentally say "Feb 26th" until you correct them. This used to happen before, when they first put out new dates, some cs reps were saying "November 2007"...poor things. It must be hard to change the date in you head when you've been repeating the SAME ONE FOREVER!!!!!!!!
