Ever drive on a multi-lane highway while heading home and get stuck on a particular lane ? The line of cars ahead of you is so long that you can't really see what is going on. The traffic in all the lanes on either side is whizzing by so fast that you don't have the option to change lanes. Think of the lane you are in as K3 at VSC and the other lanes of course are CSC, K1, stand-alone I-130 transferred to CSC and so on.

What's more just when the cars in your lane start moving and you start hoping that you will be on your merry way soon, they come to a standstill once again and the wait continues for God knows how much longer ...

-D

This is the best analogy I ever read! At this point though, my emotions are such a mess, I would say that my metaphor is that I just ended up in a car wreck :(

Good Morning to everyone, specially to my lovely VSC....I know u (VSC) can't live without me....I feel like I know u for ages....never leave me my love ....Otherwise I will be with my husband and u will probabely feel jealous....

VSC can't part from us. They're way too in love, and too obsessed. Just another fan!

Narina,

Just because we got stuck doesnt mean you guys will. Someone said their fiance from the UK was stuck in AP at NVC, its not so much where...I think it's random. I do remember reading that NVC preforms their own background checks..I guess they pull randomly to do "further" checks. Yazied isnt a very common name, I hope that helps us out.

I hope none of you guys get the "random" pull into AP there. Desiman has been there for 4 weeks so far in AP. :(

Maybe they pulled all of the mid to late december approvals. The thread started at the beginning of december already has like 30 pages. So, it might balance out...me getting approved a little bit before you guys :) maybe you wont be in an AP batch.

Did i sell you some hope? I hope so :D

Take care everybody and I guess Vermont is still catching up

(L)

Lisa

Yes hon, I do feel a little better. I'm not gonna stress about AP until we get one. I think I just need to go see my husband for a quick visit. I can't wait until March.

OK you made me laugh... :star:

I hate to rush the weekend. When my husband is finally here I will wish for the weekends.

We were fighting on the phone last night. I know he isn't mad at me... he is just wanting to be here.

Narina, I know how you feel when you say you can't wait til March. I just asked my neighbor to pick me up from the airport on Feb 10th. She told me I am crazy for flying back so soon. She told me I should wait..... BUT I CAN'T !!! She doesn't understand.

I forgot to say...Sonia's approval proved a theory I had in my head.

Since no one got any email approvals this week, I was beginning to think that maybe the email system was down again and everyone would be getting paper NOA2's instead. The thought occured to me today when I was driving home.

There's a chance a lot of you may have already been approved but don't know it yet

I, on the other hand, will not be getting my hopes up...since as of last week our petition wasn't even assigned to anyone.

Don't loose hope sweetie...I would suggest everyone expecting an approval to talk to supervisor....

One way is that to say a case number to the rep which would be a wrong ...and ask for supervisor...when u get one somehow, give them the real case number and ask for its status......

NARINA,

Next week, the new thread should be LIMBO LAND !!

My lawyer sent me a useless response. Really never answered my question about filing the waiver now as to not waste time.... :bonk::bonk::bonk::help:

GOOD MORNING ALL,

I don't know what to think about USCIS. I haven't heard anything about my expedite. I called the USCIS and I made the congresswoman's office inquire again. I have heard NOTHING !

I will be making several phone calls again today.... Thank god today is the 23rd.

I went over my minutes this month on my cell phone. Today starts a new month!!!

I don't remember talking over 1400 minutes !!!

I am also wondering if the internet site was down at all this week.

So I called NVC this morning, I figured Ill have better luck trying to see if nvc received my papers since sonia said her k3 was already their, rather than spendin 5 hours on the phone arguing with a uscis robot rep, and they told me they don't have any of my case numbers and that its not in their systems...

I was hoping but I guess nada... sonia said that her k3 was never with her i130 or something like that, maybe when she caled regarding that problem uscis decided to just approve it???

I dunno but I hope next week isn't sooooooo quiet with hardly any approvals :(

Ok so I just re read my post and confused myself lmao, I figured others will get confused also... I wasn't approved at uscis yet, but I figured if I was my papers might be at nvc and I rather speak with nvc even though I figured they won't have anything than speaking and dealing with uscis,,,, still waiting for my noa2, barely keeping sane :( I been at this since 4/14/08 :(
