HA

I just called !

What a waste of my time.

This broad just read the notice to me over and over. I already read the notice they sent me. I know when my case was received.. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH !

What about my expedite request Beotch????? How frustrating .... She was like a robot reading a teleprompter. #######??????

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH. She kept saying they will contact me directly when they make a decision.... No kidding? really? who else would they contact? These freakin' people!!

My positive attitude went right out the window.

Wasn't I the one who said not to expect anything??? Yep.... that was me.

We're in AP at NVC..super

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

AP @ NVC...is it a good sign, u don't have to wait for AP after interview...hope saves time here.... Good Luck...

i was just reading the thread started in dec about it.... 7 weeks, guys?! honestly, i dont think it means we are safe after the interview. NVC does their own background checks on all cases.

Im just annoyed right now. 8 months at VSC, and now potentially another almost 2 months!

Oh...my...God!!!!!

Please tell me AP at NVC isn't the same as AP with the consulate!!!! Does that mean they will take 6 months???

I am on the phone with hubby now and we are both extremely upset for you!!!!

He's saying, "Wallahi it's not worth to marry and go to America." He's telling me I should just go by him...

Great...I spent all day yesterday crying my eyes out. Now I guess I'll be spending today crying my eyes out too!

Pretty soon our drought problem will be over, as I can probably water the whole freakin state with as many tears as I've shed...

aww Narina, thanks for your and your husband.

I dont think NVC AP is like consulate AP, so far, from skimming the thread started...seems about 6-8 weeks is average???

God Willing, we will be "cleared" soon. I would sure like to know why I got 4 GD letters saying they would be forwarding to the embassy in a week!

ok, I'll be patient....for now

Well, this is just for an information that filed transfered in December (August and July) are getting approvals in regular intervals....

One of those got approved wants her case to delay for one year at NVC....Ppl who get it, then don't want it...It is from one of the august I-130 filers.

One of the November filer of VSC screaming to get approval soon by this week as he was transfered....

No APPROVALS

No TOUCHES

and FREAKIN' NO CLUE

I called the USCIS as I wrote earlier. SO I was asked about 5 times today by various co-workers... When is your husband going to be here? Shouldn't he be here by now? Wow, Isn't there something you can do to speed up the process? BLAH BLAH BLAH And then, I called my husband when I got home from work and he asked me if I called USCIS today.... ( BTW, he was cooking and he asked me why I'm not there to eat with him....how frustrating..... THANKS VSC !!!!)

Do people think I am just sitting on my rump doing nothing?

So after I listened to everyone talk about what a shame it is that my husband is caught up in the immigration mess.... I decided to call my little friends over at Allyson Schwartz's office. ( Congresswoman) The guy was annoyed that I asked him to inquire about my case AGAIN. His exact words " Didn't I already do that for you once?" OMG #######.. ( I thought to myself) I explained how I requested an expedite and how I am waiting for them to approve it. Well, he changed his tune when he heard the word EXPEDITE. So as I was talking to him on the phone he was typing on his keyboard. He told me he requested status as we were speaking. He said he should hear something within a few days....

So, I made my calls today. Tomorrow Come what may !!!!!!

Tomorrow I will call the 800 number. Mostly because I feel like I am doing something instead of just sitting around waiting.

Or under 5 months if you filed in August...or under 2 months if you got to file with CSC...or 2 years if they feel like it. There is no rhyme or reason.

Forget co-workers (they all know every detail of my life LOL) I have people in the grocery store, gas station, and bank who are asking if my husband is here yet. I'm like "Nope..." They all ask the same thing, "Isn't there something you can do? Why is it taking so long? I thought if someone married a USC they automatically get to come here." The whole city knows my dilemma. Some of the customs officers at the airport started to recognize me. There are so many stickers on my passport that they don't even question me at Schiphol airport anymore. Even the drug reps ask me, "When are you going to see your husband again? I wanted to make an appointment with you when I know you're definitely going to be here."

The day after Obama won the elections, I was leaving the bank and one of the ladies who I'm friendly with, was with a client. So I waved to her as I was leaving and she said, "Hey honey, how are you?" I gave her 2 thumbs up (because she was an Obama supporter). Right in front of her current clients, she spread her hands on the desk and her draw dropped and she shouted, "Oh my God! He's finally here?" I was like, "Huh?" She said, "You're giving me the thumbs up! Is your husband here? I thought you were trying to tell me he's here!" LOL The couple at her desk turn and look at me. I was like, "No, not yet :( "

It's so sad...the whole world has sympathy, but not USCIS.

HAHAHAHAHA that is so funny. When I go threw customs in Costa Rica, they recognize me too. Even the taxi drivers outside the airport know me by name. I even got a phone number of one of them. He said to call ahead when I come to Costa Rica. He will make sure he picks me up and takes me right to Fernando's house.

Everyone around town knows my deal too. I get the same questions you get. Funny how people think just because you marry a USC you automatically get a green card. What makes me angry is all the illegals that are here. I'm trying to follow the rules and I have to suffer and wait month after month for my husband and these people come here on a visitor visa and just over stay and go about their lives. Do everything I do but don't pay taxes. Their kids go to public school and get free lunches, medical care etc......... and I can't even be with my husband because the paperwork is BS!!!! That really makes me mad and I could go on forever about this.

I thought ( or it was my understanding) that it depends on the country of the beneficiary on how long it takes after the interview.... hmmmmm

I know I have a long road ahead of me. I still have to wait to file the I-601 at the interview. Maybe they will approve an expedite then.:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
