Happy Monday! Still no news from my husband but his plane did arrive in Cairo. He said he would call when he gets settled in but that will probably be next week :whistle: . Just joking, I'll probably hear from him today when the excitement settles down.

Good luck to those interviewing and waiting!

Thanks Maureen and HG. I'm sure he is probably eating his weight in Mashy right now and loving on the boys and his mom and visiting his grandfather. It's ok, he said sometime today and he knows I had to go to work today. I'm glad his plane arrived safely.

I read your message last week sometime about you calling your Malek, Malley, that's pretty funny that we call our little ones similar nicknames. I am glad your hubby arrived safely. Did he take Malek with him?

Interview Date: August 12, 2008

Visa in hand, 1 month exactly of AP/AR/name checks: September 12, 2008 (whoot! whoot!)

POE: October 16, 2008 (praying all goes smoothly!)

Abed arrives in Lexington, KY (FINALLY! What a rough trip for him!): October 17, 2008, 8:47am EST

Adjustment of Status:

Sent in April 16, 2009

Received NOA1 in mail: April 29, 2009

Biometrics Appt: May 13, 2009

RFE: May 11, 2009 (received May 14, 2009)

Sent in RFE (that we had already included in the original packet!): May 26, 2009

done Done and DONE!!! Praise God!

No, Malek stayed at home with me. He went home to visit his boys and see his mother and take care of some family issues. Malek will probably go and see his Nana the next time his father and I go. I am not ready to let him take him without me plus I wanted him to get most of his immunizations first.

Funny thing about Malek's nicknames is that my husband never shortens it. He always calls him Malek. Everybody else says baby mal mal, or malley. Poor kid, he will never understand his real name.

Maureen...I am super busy as it is with one in basketball and one in dance, working full time and keeping up with Malek's messes.(forgot how it felt to have a toddler around!) Plus I am doing some extra house cleaning and going to start weight watchers this week. I have two birthday parties to plan also. Lots to do.....just bittersweet. I miss the heck out of him already...had to sniff the cologne on his sweater he wore the day before he left and it brought instant tears to my eyes. Strange but it did. I tell myself, its just a vacation...just a vacation.

thanks hot guy it was really nice from u to do this

i had my interview with a guy in window 15

he was nice

everthing was ok and very good

but in the end he gave me my passport back and told me we will call u in 3 weeks or month because we had to do administrative process then u send us yr passport when we call u

whtffffff

i guess they will do with us like thos othe cpls we will wait years

donu wht to do really so depressed

No way of telling. Every case is different. Some are 2 weeks....ours so far is since Dec 1, 2008. Your fiancee can call the DOS number and check on the status of your AP. Let me know if want the number. I call it every day. I know all the operatiors there, Chris sarah anna pj (sounds like vj ;) ) kate.....One of these days one of them will say it is complete. Until then all I can do is call and......wait.

again...happy monday. (im trying to muster up some enthusiasm)
