Part 4 B - Care of I put down my full name

And if you were not married, leave it blank, or put in N/A

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Ha, in every question that didn't apply to us, put in a "N/A", believe I read someplace, that is what they want. Did search the net for sample filled out forms, couldn't find any, but did find an old N-400, was actually written in English.

3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. State that an item is not applicable with "N/A." If the answer is none, write "none."

so should i write N/A ?

Part 9. Information about your children.

A How many sons and daughters have you had?

(i'm sorry maybe my questions look silly but i really don't want to do any mistake)

If something is not applicable to your situation, then put N/A.

If you don't have any children, put "0" down.

Don't leave any fields blank.

I put N/A in all the fields that were not applicable to me. It can't hurt to write in a N/A, but to leave a space blank could cause some additional questions or delays. And it doesn't take much time and effort to fill in N/A. By the time you post here, you might as well just fill in "N/A" on your application.

Just my 2 cents...

For both, I would fill in with "N/A".

"Care of" is used for home owner or rent owner when you stay there, but mailman doesn't know your name.

It is a kind of "proxy" person, who can accept your mail on behalf of you.

According to Wikipedia, Miami-Dade is the county, not Dade, but they probably would know what it is, I think Miami-Dade is a better choice.

P.S. I like CSI-Miami, the CSI like to announce themselves as "Miami Dade PD". B) Image of Horatio with sunglasses coming up......
