Question about employment

Hello everyone,

My husband has always worked, but without papers; "under the table", as we say. We don't know how best to handle that on the section about employment on the G-325, but we can't leave it open and subject to being taken as a misrepresentation. Any suggestions?

Thanks for responding. He's still in Morocco. We're doing the K3. I'm concerned because altho the economy in Morocco is bad, working under the table is probably illegal, and admitting to it may cause problems. Still, I don't want to lie either. AARRRGGG!

Just list the jobs. There is no need to state whether or not the positions were under the table or not. There is a possibility, of course, that they do some research and you might have to explain if that happens. I think most likely though, they will never know.

I've never heard of them actually calling employers listed on the G-325A.

Dont lie, it'll bite you in the butt one day.

If you are putting on the G-325A that he worked under the table, sit back and think about how common it is to work under the table there.

Working under the table is more common then you think in the ME/NA countries. They see it all the time. Just list the jobs and go from their. Mohammed's jobs were under the table too. It wasn't even addressed.
