She is the sweetiest lady I know- down to earth sweet kind person. What works my nerve is how you are trying to come off!

Shon, if Mary has an issue with someone, I'm sure she can and will deal with it privately. Can't you see that this is just perpetuating the past? Please let it drop and let's move on.

However YOU have now on 2 separate occasions taken Mary's personal business (her PM to you on leaving and whatever has gone on privately between Mary and Monique) and made them board fodder. It's not your business to do that, so if Mary is a good friend of yours show her some respect and do as she asks...which is to let the thread die.

odd, because i have never sent a PM to mary with 'trash' in it before. maybe you have your information messed up. it has become apparent that you are privvy to some sort of communication that has been going on between mary and i. i find it odd that mary has once again NOT chosen to bring this up in the public, but you again, have. you alerted us to the fact that mary was leaving, some were upset that she was leaving and come were confused (i fell into the confused portion). mary has since decided to return to VJ and i, for one of many, am very pleased to see that. you're still not happy when we welcome her back .... what gives, shon??

mary sent me an email voicing her displeasure and i responded as such:

again, you are taking things WAY too literally. my post was across the board to many people, not singularly to you. i admitted that you were the sweetest, nicest person on VJ, but i still maintain that i do not understand the link between AK's post and this upset that has been caused within side you.

everyone's visa journey is different and you cannot compare one with the other. shall i share my sob story?? shall i go on about how geoff and i were separated for over 600 days? how my children suffered? how now, after 5 months home, things are finally resuming some sort of normalcy? our journey began in 2003 as well ... in an airport, where i waited for 2hrs only to finally call our home phone and find geoff's voicemail that he had been denied entry. he was detained and fingerprinted. he then had to go through additonal FBI checks during our visa process. like i said ... everyone has their own story which is of most importance to them.

i don't lack an awareness of the stress that is involved with this process ... everyone has it and the levels vary. i know you are very stressed at the moment for various reasons and i stand by my statement that i think your anger is misdirected at this time. AP/AR and field investigations are par for the course when marrying certain men that hail from certain countries. i can understand how emotionally distressing it is to not be able to get in touch with your husband due to various phone and internet problems ... but that had nothing to do with AK's thread. people assumed his wife was 'picked up' due to the large sums of money she brought in to the US ... how does this bear any relevance to your case?

as i said earlier ... i'm sorry that your decision to leave was thrust into the public eye of VJ, but i don't feel that i've acted in a different manner than i would have with anyone else. my true colors have always shone through because i believe in speaking my mind and saying what i feel. i apologize if this has upset or hurt you ... but my true colors are unwavering.

as angry as you may be with me, i feel no ill will and wish you and you husband and your 2 children nothing but the best and a speedy end to this arduous journey that you are on. it will end and you will all happily be reunited.

at no point did i insult or malign her. i hold mary in the highest regards, that has not changed. since i had not heard from mary again since sending her my email, i assumed that all was well and welcomed her back since i saw her return.

i'm not really sure where you fit into this all shon ... but i don't think it's in this equation. i'm sure at this point, if mary has anything further to say to me ... she will. as will i ... in private!
