Hi to all: Yesterday I received my biometric schedule and nothing for my son. My son received a letter saying (please see below) is this RFE?

YOUR CONDITIONAL RESIDENT STATUS IS EXTENDED FOR A PERION OF 1 YEAR FROM DATE OF EXPIRATION ON YOUR FORM I-551,CONDITIONAL RESIDENT CARD.DURING THE 1 YR EXTENSION YOU ARE AUTHORIZED EMPLOYMENT AND TRAVEL IN ORDER TO FURTHER PROCESS YOUR PETITION,YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT NOTICE WITH A SPECIFIC TIME,DATE AND LOCATION TO CAPTURE YOUR FINGER PRINTS,PHOTO AND SIGNATURE.YOU MUST WAIT FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT NOTICE BEFORE GOING TO THE APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER (ASC) FOR BIMETRIC PROCESSING.

If you already have not already done so,provide supporting documents to assist USCIS in processing your petition and to establish eligibility to remove the conditional basis of your permanent residence.please include a copy of this receipt notice with any supporting documents you submit,such evidence may include,but not limited to,the following items:lease of joint tenancy joint morgage agreement and or/property joint ownership of assets tax returns birth certificate of any children joint policies of life,medical,and or car insurance.

We had the exact same thing happen. It is not a RFE, it is your son`s one year extension letter. You do not need to send anything in to them.You will probably get your son`s biometrics appointment in the next couple of days. My son received his appointment letter approx 4 days after i got mine.

Thank you so much Muuuuah! Im just wondering if my son receive his biometric by next week, do you think we can take our fingerprint at the same time?

I think it dpends on the office. My son`s appointment was 2 days after mine, but i took him along with me and they did them at the same time. If the appointment comes for a different day and time i guess you take him along with you and try to see if they will do it at the same time. I explained that my son is a minor and get back there by himself, and that i would not be able to have more time off work to bring him back in 2 days time. They did it without any problems.

Thanks! I will just take him to my appointment date and hopefully they will allow him to have fingerprints.

depends on your location... but you can take him along w/ your letters and ask. When I was doing my AOS, I also applied for an EAD, and i got the EAd appointment first and I asked if they could do my AOS at the same, and they did.... so you can ask.

Mailed N-400 March 6th via priority certified mail and Rec'd 9th (confirmation by USPS)
