Appointments for EAD and AOS biometrics on different dates

Hello!

A couple of weeks ago I got the appointment letter for biometrics linked to the EAD application, and this past week, got the one linked for the AOS. The first one is for the 22nd of June and the latter one for the 29th of June. I guess I could bring both letters on the 22nd and then they will make both at the same time.

However, I am feeling paranoic, and if I do that, and then do not show up on the 29th, I feel they might "consider the application abandoned" as they say in the letter.

Are there experiences with this around here?

I am not busy (no EAD!) so I can just go to both, and the office I have to go for the biometrics is just 5 minutes from where I live. That will of course be 100% sure.

What do you guys think!?

THANKS!

Hello. Some people on here (such as I as an example) get booked for our bio metric appt for our aos and ead at the same time. Obviously they didn't do that in your case though and have you booked at two different dates though they will being doing the same at both. I suggest that you go to both appointments as they are stated in each letter because it is very unlikely that because you are there for one (yet not booked for the other on same day) go through and just do it. Thank goodness that your so close so that this won't have to be much of a problem for you. So I do suggest to just go for the one as stated in first letter and the 2nd the other day stated in the 2nd letter. Good Luck!

We got our EAD first -- then a week later we got the letter for the AOS. I didn't want to chance it so we didn't say anything about the AOS at the EAD appointment. Like you, the "center" was really close to the house and not a big deal to go to two appointments.

No harm in taking both letters and asking. My wifes were both scheduled 2 weeks apart. Was only a half hour drive to the center to do them but, We brought both letters and they did them both at the same time. They took care of cancelling the second appointment. Just make sure they stamp both letters as they will give them back to You when finished. We had no problems and My wife has her green card now.

Good Luck.

Personally, I'd take both letters, and see if you can get both done on the same day. If not, you don't live very far away, and can make both appointments easily.

You are very fortunate, I had to go to another state to get my AOS biometrics done!

At the time of the EAD Bio -- we hadn't yet received the letter for the AOS. If we did, I would have brought it along just in case they would have taken it....

take them both and make sure if you get both done you won't have to come back any more.

If they don't let you do it, go back a week later. If it's only 5 minutes, there's nothing to lose
