Congratulations!

First, thank you everyone!

As for the I-130, I sent in the following:

Pictures before we got married, Wedding ceremony, and pictures after we got married. All to include pictures with family members. Insurance Policy, Joint Bank account statements (Savings and Checking), Will, Avidavit from 2 of his family members who were at the wedding, wedding invitation, Travel Documents from the 2 trips that I made to India, and of course the marriage certificate.

An updated copy of the joint bank account, wills, Insurance policies were sent to the NVC for the updated AO$ (I-184)

And of course too, all my documents have my new married name on it.

What we brought to the interview, that was not even looked at were the phone logs, additional pictures from this third trip, all the other pictures too, bank statements, the wedding album, the insurance paperwork, the paperwork to add my husband's name to our house, letters, western union reciepts , avidvit letters from my family and friends, letter from my commander (I am in the Army Reserves) and anything else I heard they might need for India reading these forums like Voter Card and Ration Card, School Records. (None of this was seen during the interview)

Perhaps if they have a file that has enough evidence already before the interview for them to review, maybe it will save a few 221s and time on interview. However, I would rather have as much proof of relationship documents at the interview as I can and not need them than not have them and need them.

I hope this helps.

Congratulations! That was fast. My judgement day is on Jan 22. Hope it will be as easy as yours.

Best regards,

Congratulations. It seems you were extremely well prepared and orginazed. You can use all that evidence for the removal of conditions interview in two years (if you got a CR1 status). Just keep adding pictures for vacations or activities with family in the next two years and any other documents that you create showing both of you.

I think it helps when the spouse is present at the interview. It shows your committment and interest in the relationship. For me, my proof of relationship came when they asked me how many times I had been to see her and I answered 12 times in a year and a half period! What! they said!. How did you do it? I told them every long weekend, every holiday I would travel to see her. I had copies of my passport showing all the trips but they didn't ask for it. They just laughed and approved the visa.
